Betty "Bets" Wigfield

Betty “Bets” Wigfield, 67, of Everett, passed away on October 18, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on August 28, 1954 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Boyd W. and Pauline Elizabeth (Kile) Wigfield. 

She is survived by her only child Amy Calhoun, two grandchildren Cameron Calhoun and Mya Calhoun; siblings Boyd “Pete” Wigfield, Richard Wigfield married to Mary Grace, Melinda Bryson married to Ron.  She is also survived by a special friend of twenty-three years Patty Johnson; she helped to raise two great great nephews Jordan and Chase Bottenfield and surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Bets was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy “Dottie” Mearkle and niece Lorrie Bottenfield.

She was employed at Blue Triangle for a number of years.  She enjoyed mowing grass, hunting, loved taking rides around town and was a car enthusiast especially camaro's.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held later.
