Betty Wilt Obituary

Betty M. Wilt, 96, of Breezewood, PA; passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on February 16, 1929 in Breezewood, PA; a daughter of the late Charles E. and Helen C. (Salkeld) Clark.  She was united in marriage to Neil P. Wilt on May 10, 1948 in Winchester, VA; he preceded her in death on June 29, 1981. 

She is survived by three children Cathy E. Wilt (companion Harry Nave) Breezewood, PA; David K. Wilt, Exton, PA; and Jim N. Wilt (Joy), Breezewood, PA;  grandchildren Leah Seace, Chad Wilt, Bre Clark (Bryan), Jessica Lemin (Logan), Sarah Jo Wilt (Gavin Habinyak); step grandchildren Pamela (Evan) Snowberger, Janelle (Josh) Cogan, Alyssa (Brian) Bert, Heather (Bob) Wilson, and Jennifer (Devin) Hollern; great grandchildren Oakley and Hudson Clark, Jase, Henlee and Emersyn Lemin, Konner and Kollin Seace, Victoria Huffstatler, Kinzlee Habinyak, step great grandchildren Ava, Everly and Ellianna Hollern, Oliva, Reed, and Ella Cogan, Aiden and Landen Snowberger, Grayson and Madelyn Wilson and Nolan Bert; extended family, Rhonda & Woody Woodward and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by twin sisters Marjorie E. Swanson and Margaret E. Carleton, brothers Donald E. Clark and Dean Clark.

Betty was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1947.

She was a member of the Breezewood United Methodist Church; she was a Charter Member of the Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary; and a former member of Noble Grand formerly the Cleo Rebecca Lodge #221.

Betty was a desk clerk at the Holiday Inn for several years along with serving as the tax collector for East Providence Township for thirty-six years until her retirement.  She loved her children and grandchildren’s visits.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her grandchildren in all they did.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

At Betty’s request, there will be no services.
