Betty B. Appleby, 98, of Breezewood, PA; passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2025 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 4, 1927 in Williamsburg, PA; a daughter of the late Joseph W. Sessano and Edith Ann (Reffner) Benner.
She is survived by four children Connie Lou (Creps) Rush married to Harold K. Rush, Jr.; David W. Creps married to Pam (Painter) Creps; Sharon (Appleby) Foor-Robertson married to Richard Robertson and Kathy (Appleby) Leonard married to David Leonard; grandchildren Justine Marzolf married to Dave, Tracey L. Rush, Stacy M. Clark married to Kerby, G. Timothy Christopher married to Sheri, Sheena M. Creps, Marah Foor and Heath Snyder married to Melinda, Elizabeth Snyder, and Brandon Leonard; great grandchildren Shelia Swindell, Jonathan Swindell, Bryan Marzolf, Gerald Marzolf, Zachary Breon, Kylie Breon, Marissa Bowers, Moriah Layman, Micah Clark, Karissa Fischer, Seth Snyder, Jennifer Price, Olivia Mills, Levi Foor, Brayden Snyder, Hailie Snyder, Skylynn Miller, Lucas Delozier, Ryleigh Snyder, Cayden Snyder, Alaina Snyder, and Jayce Snyder; great great grandchildren Katelynn, Evan, Austin, Hayden, Levi, Christine, Mayleigh, Nathan, Hallee, Liam, Mckenzie, Gracie, Stephanie, Timothy, Andrew, Kamden, Hayden, Aubrie, Brooke, Brady, Greyson, Paisley, Oaklynn, and Cayson; great great great grandchildren Kasen and Renleigh. She was also survived by a bonus son Denny Foor.
She was preceded in death by granddaughters Christine L. Swindell and Ashley Foor and great grandsons Aaron Snyder and G. Tim Christopher Jr. and a great great grandson Johnny Swindell and step granddaughter Whitney Appleby.
She was the step-mother to Joe Appleby married to Lisa and Bob Appleby married to Lisa.
Betty enjoyed playing guitar and piano, over the years she sang with Doc Williams, Midnight Cowboy Band, Kitty Wells, Rawhide & Doogie Potter Band.
Ms. Appleby worked at the Lions Manufacturing for a number of years.
Friends and Family will be received on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 with Pastor John Wiley officiating.
Burial will be held at Mt. Chapel Cemetery.
