Audrey Susan Beegle

Audrey Susan (Kane) Beegle, 88, of Everett, Pa., passed away on September 8, 2024, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. 

She was born June 8, 1936, in Tatesville, Pa., to Harry T. and Jesse Evelyn (Simmons) Kane.  She married John Joseph “Joe” Beegle of Everett, Pa., in Winchester, Va., on August 1, 1953, and is survived by sons, Steven L. Beegle, and wife, Lani, of Martinsburg, Pa., and Joseph A. Beegle, and wife, Lynnette, of Bedford, Pa., and daughter, Andrea Louise Holler, and husband, Donald, of Everett, Pa.  She is also survived by a brother, Donald R. Kane, and wife, MJ, of Bedford, Pa. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; a son, Frederick Martin “Marty” Beegle; a brother, Tommy; her parents; and her three sisters: Louise, Shirley, and Beverly — “the Kane girls.” 

Audrey spent her lifetime worshipping The Lord and adoring her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her pet dog, Casey. They were the center of her life. Her passions were gardening, reading, canning, crocheting, and receiving daily updates on her grandchildren/great-grandchildren.  Known by many as “the deli girl and cashier” from Riverside Markets (then BiLo Markets), she always looked for the good in everyone she met.  She was a member of the Tatesville United Methodist Church. 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Everett Cemetery.
