Arlene P. (Barton) Price

Arlene P. Price, 78, of Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Homewood at Martinsburg.  She was born on April 18, 1948 in Crystal Spring, PA; a daughter of the late Walter and Amy Barton.  On June 29, 1968 at the Breezewood Full Gospel Lighthouse Church she was united in marriage to Myron N. “Sonny” Price.  He preceded her in death on October 25, 2011.

She is survived by two children Andrew D. Price married to Shonda and Andrea D. Mellott married to Michael; three grandsons Austin Mellott and Zachary and his companion Lexi Saeler and Garrett Price; sisters Melvina Morse of Everett and Joan Brambley married to Philip of Crystal Spring, sister-in-law Shirley Blankley along with numerous special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by siblings Eva Barton, Rosalie Fischer, infant sister Essie, an infant brother and a niece Kimberly Morse.

Arlene was a member of the Clear Creek Brethren In Christ Church.

Throughout the years she was employed at Gateway and The Dutch Haus Restaurant in Crystal Spring.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading the bible, doing word finds and spending time with her family.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor John Geyer officiating.

Burial will be held at Cherry Lane Cemetery.
