Anna LeMae (Miller) Hinish, aged 92, of Everett, PA, passed away peacefully on the evening of July 5, 2025, surrounded by the deep love of her family.
Born on June 28, 1933 in Clearville, PA to Kenneth Halton Miller and Collie Wilson (Rice) Miller, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family — a quiet, enduring thread in the tapestry of generations. Her life was a testament to grace, resilience, and deep, unwavering love.
Anna served her community and family throughout her life. She was co-owner of Hinish Feed and Farm Supply for over 30 years. Following that, she served Bedford County as the County Registrar for many years until her retirement. Along with her work, she volunteered countless hours in various organizations, as well as quilts, bags, and hats that were all donated to the less fortunate through various church groups.
She is survived by her 4 daughters: Cynthia (Cindy) Robinette, wife of Randy (Everett, PA); Penny Craig, wife of Richard (Rick) Craig (Everett, PA); Jennifer Campbell, wife of Fred Campbell (Buffalo Mills, PA); and Mary Gilbert, wife of Brett (East Helena, MT).
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Earl Hinish, 1962–1988.
She cared deeply for her grandchildren: Brandon and Nicole Robinette, Brent Robinette, Kristina and Marc Anderson, Clint and Megan Campbell, Melissa and James Meden, and Miles Gilbert and Sara Rasnick. And, great-grandchildren: Anna, Ivy, Ronan, and Nora (arriving in October).
Her legacy of love, strength, gentle humor and "Annaisms" will live on in those she held dear.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 5-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
