Anita JoAnn Foor

Anita “JoAnn” Foor, 82, of Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Pennknoll Village.  She was born on September 27, 1942 in Hopewell, PA; a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Hamm) Fink.  She was united in marriage to Donald Lloyd Foor.  He preceded her in death on February 12, 2006.

She is survived by two grandsons Justin L. Foor, Everett and Wesley J.L. Foor married to Colleen E. (Hileman), Roaring Spring, PA; daughter-in-law Sherri L. (Claycomb) Foor, Everett; great granddaughters Ruth A. and Clarice M. Foor; brother Joe Fink married to Darlene, Everett.

She was preceded in death by her son Bryan “Keith” Foor and the following siblings Ron Fink, Ken Fink, Audrey Fink, Richard Fink.

She was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church.  Over the years JoAnn worked at Lion Manufacturing, Everett Flower Shop and Wal-Mart.  She enjoyed crocheting afghans, working puzzles, word searches and watching some of her favorite television shows the Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Westerns and game shows. JoAnn loved taking care of her dogs and cats she had over the years.

Friends and Family will be received on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. H. Ward Greer officiating.

Burial will be held at the Everett Cemetery.
