Anita Ritchey Obituary

Anita Dawn Ritchey, 71, of Raven Run Road, Saxton, PA; passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1953 in Huntingdon, PA; a daughter of the late Mike Koplets and Nancy Edith (Lundquist) Crawford-Swope. On January 30, 1970 in the Raven Run Church of the Brethren she was united in marriage to William H. “Pete” Ritchey.

Along with her husband of fifty-four years, she is survived by four daughters Jennifer Miller married to Aaron, Saxton; Rachel Ritchey, Six Mile Run; Amy Cessna married to Chris, Willow Street, PA; and Ashley Laney married to Jessie, Northern Cambria, PA; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Raven Run Church of the Brethren.

Anita was a stay at home mom and did a great job raising her daughters.

She was a Republican Committee Woman for many years. Anita enjoyed gardening, baking, canning and being with her grandchildren.

Per Anita’s wishes, there will be no services.
