Alton D. Ford

Alton D. Ford, 62, of Hustontown, PA; passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the home of his mother.  He was born on December 3, 1963 in HaveDeGrace, Maryland; a son of Margaret "Peggy" (Johnson) Schreiber of Clearville, PA and the late Ronald D. Ford.  He was united in marriage to Brenda (Schofield) Ford, she preceded him in death in 2009.  

He is survived by a sister Tina M. married to Vincent Weaver, Clearville, PA; niece and nephew Cindy and Robert and his constant companion, his dog "Miky".

Alton worked for over twenty years at the Cheese Factory in Hancock until he took an early retirement.  Later working for a lumber company.

He enjoyed collecting guns, knives, books, and swords.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Barb and Tom Hyle for watching over Alton, a visiting nurse in Hustontown David Smith and the Heartland Hospice nurses that cared for him in Clearville, Brittany, Alicia, Nellie and Mary Ann.
