Alice M. Magee

Alice M. Magee, 78, of McGee Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Hospital.  She was born on November 11, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA; a daughter of the late Russel and Helen May (Dager) Hires. On March 4, 1973 she was united in marriage to William C. Magee.

Along with her husband she is survived by children Renee Pettit, Everett, PA; Jeff Magee married to Lori, Glassport, PA and John French, Levittown, PA; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by son David French and granddaughter Tammy French. 

Alice worked as a supervisor in a circuit board assembly factory as well as drove school bus.  She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Breezewood V.F.W. Post No. 8333.   She enjoyed shopping, attending fall foliage, ceramics, quilting, putting flower arrangements together, going out to eat lunch and dinner, square dancing, fishing, camping and cooking but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 from 2-4 P.M.
