Addison M. Clingerman

Addison M. Clingerman 87, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on August 20, 2021 at Summa Health System, Barberton Campus, Ohio.  He was born on June 24, 1934, in Artemas, PA; a son of late John Henry and Bertha Mae (Johnson) Clingerman. On June 6, 1981 in Winchester, VA, he was united in marriage to Margaret Ruth (Shipley).

Along with his wife he is survived by the following family, step children Guy H. Robinson Jr. married to Donna. Akron, Ohio; Vivian R. Stebleton married to Virgil, Columbus, Ohio; Terry W. Robinson married to Gail, Graytown, Ohio and Randy W. Robinson, Akron, Ohio; siblings Vernon Clingerman married to Ethel, Little Orleans, MD; Vernelda Jay married to James, Clearville, PA and Lawanna McCusker married to Gail, Hancock, MD; six step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by siblings Dale Clingerman, Carroll Clingerman, Pearl Harvey and Amelia Messersmith.

He worked as a Union Carpenter Local 435.

Family and Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at 11:00.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Jay officiating.

Burial will be at Fairview cemetery.
