William M. Ritchey

William Michael Ritchey, 67, of Everett, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on November 29, 1951 in Bedford, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Frank W. and Lura E. (Means) Ritchey. 

He is survived by his brother Roger Ritchey and wife Christena (Clingerman); nephew Adrian Ritchey and wife Andrea (Crawford); niece Allison Ritchey and fiancé Aaron Green; he was also survived by two great nieces Evelyn and Amelia Ritchey.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister Virginia Ritchey.

William was a 1970 graduate of Bedford High School.

He retired from D.M. Bowman Trucking in 2013 after fifteen years of service and was previously employed by Breezewood Union 76 and Tel-Power. He was currently working at the Omni Bedford Springs.

He enjoyed riding his ATV, going to dirt track races, taking pictures of the many drivers and cars, and spending time with his dog “Buddy”.

Visitation will be held at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

At the deceased’s request there will be no public viewing.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Bowles officiating.
