Wendy L. (Leidy) Reasy

Wendy L. Reasy, 55, of Pine Hill Road, New Enterprise, PA; passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.  She was born on February 23, 1963 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania; a daughter of John T. and Patricia D. (Piper) Leidy of Hopewell.  On May 21, 1983 in the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church she was united in marriage to Ben A. Reasy. 

Along with her parents and husband she is survived by three sons Jamie Reasy married to Janell (Mowry), New Enterprise, PA; Darin Reasy married to Rachelle (Ritchey), Altoona, PA and Bransin Reasy, New Enterprise, PA; three granddaughters McKenna, Madelyn and Mila Reasy; siblings John Leidy married to Kassi, New Enterprise, PA; Penny married to Keith Smith, Roaring Spring, PA; David Leidy married to Tammy, New Enterprise, PA and Jennifer married to Corey Ebersole, Roaring Spring, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wendy was a graduate of Northern Bedford County High School Class of 1981.  She attended Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.

She enjoyed her role as housewife, caring and cooking for her family and spending time with grandchildren.

Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 2-5 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Benner officiating.

Burial will be held at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury, PA.
