Wayne Adams Obituary

Wayne Ralph Adams, 62, of Pine Hollow Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 9, 1955 in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Ralph G. and Theola M. (Manspeaker) Adams.  On July 31, 1974 in Zion Lutheran Church, Everett; he married Denice D. (Goodrich) Adams.

Along with his wife of forty-three years, he is survived by daughter Megan R. married to John Selby; brother Marc L. Adams married to Roxie; brothers-in-law Steve Goodrich, Randy Goodrich married to Sharon, Bradley Goodrich and Karen, Craig Goodrich married to Tammy, John Foor married to Sandy and Wayne Calhoun married to Sheila; sister-in-law Julia Hillenbrand; grandsons Chase L. Selby and Ryder A. Selby and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Raymond Hillenbrand and father and mother-in-law: Dale and Mary Lou Goodrich.

Wayne was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1973. He was employed as a welder for New Enterprise Stone and Lime until his retirement in 2017.

He was a member of The Shepherd’s Chapel as well as an NRA member and the Sons of the American Legion Everett Post #8.

His final gift in life was an organ donor.
