Walter "Hank" F. Robinette

Walter F. “Hank” Robinette, 83, of West Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born on June 28, 1934 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Scott E. Robinette Sr. and Olive (Mills) Robinette.  On April 7, 1958 in Winchester, VA; he married Dorothy P. (Baughman) Robinette.  She preceded him in death on November 16, 1992.

He is survived by daughter Pamela married to Ralph D. Snyder II, Everett, PA; grandsons Jason Walter Snyder married to Jaclyn and Joshua Robert Snyder married to Whitney; three great granddaughters Baylee, Abby and Jaelyn; siblings Lois “Peg” married to Walter Mowchan, Churchville, MD, Joann married to Delmar Leader, Everett, PA, Arlene married to Fred Fluke, Bedford, PA, Gerald  Robinette married to Carol, Lancaster, PA, Robert “Mick” Robinette married to Rachel, Everett, PA, William “Bill” Robinette married to Charlotte, Mt. Joy, PA, sisters-in-law: Marjorie Robinette and Cindy Robinette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings Scott E. Robinette, Jr., Lillian Pepple, Jim Robinette, Donald “Tom” Robinette, Doris Howlett, Marian Giffin and an infant sister.

Mr. Robinette was a member of Mt. Union Christian Church.

He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.  Hank enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and great granddaughters.

He was employed at Everett Hardwood and later working for the Everett Area School District as a custodian for several years until his retirement in 1999.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Everett with Pastor Gary Blankley officiating.

Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Mt. Union Cemetery.
