Ronald A Boore

Ronald A. Boore, 81, of Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  He was born on June 20, 1937 in Cumberland, Maryland; a son of the late Addison B. and Carrie P. (Beegle) Boore.  

He is survived by siblings Lloyd Boore, Bel Air, MD; Mary Butler, Mt. Airy, MD; Shirley Imes married to Upton, Everett, PA; Janet Calhoun, Everett, PA and Marvin "Gene" Boore, New Windsor, MD; sisters-in-law Mary Boore and Thelma Boore and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by siblings Elva Jenkins, Milton Paul Boore, William "Bill" Boore, John Boore, David Boore, Greta Clark and infant siblings Helen, Gerald and Norma.

Mr. Boore was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1955 and attended Catherman Business School.  He spent his career working as an accountant and certified financial planner for various companies in the Baltimore area.

Ron was a veteran having served in the United States Army from 1962-1964 as a SP4.

He was a member of the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He enjoyed watching baseball, football and westerns.  In Ron's younger years he participated in a bowling league.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Snyder officiating.

Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park with full military honors conducted by the Everett Area Honor Guard.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Boore to the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church.
