Ralph Donald Snyder

Ralph Donald Snyder, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at home with his wife by his side.  He was born on November 26, 1938 in Bedford, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Ralph T. and Viola (Wilson) Snyder.  In May of 1963 in Lanham, Maryland; he was united in marriage to Willetta “Willie” H. (Harig) Snyder.  Along with his wife of fifty-four years he is survived by sons Ralph D. Snyder II married to Pam, Everett, PA and Russell D. Snyder married to Penny, Everett, PA: grandchildren Jason married to Jaclyn, Joshua married to Whitney, Selena and Shannen; three great grandchildren Baylee, Abigail and Jaelyn; sister Margaret I. Snyder, Everett, PA.              

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Don was a member of the Everett Church of God.  He was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1958 and served in the United States Army from 1961-1963.

Throughout the years Don worked for Williams & Co. as a salesman on the road for eighteen years and for Donald Lahr Petroleum doing delivery and service works for eighteen years, more recently driving tanker for Bedford Valley Petroleum for nine years until his retirement. 

At Don’s request there will be no public services a private graveside service will be held at the Ritchey Cemetery with Pastor William Kisner officiating.
