Patricia J. Brallier

Patricia J. (McEldowney) Brallier, 87, Hopewell, PA; passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at home.  She was born on September 7, 1930 in Broad Top City, PA; a daughter of the late Oliver and Elsie (Young) McEldowney.  She was united in marriage to John "Jack" Stuart Brallier, he preceded her in death on April 24, 1996.

She is survived by children Daniel Brallier married to Pam, Harrisburg, PA, Neil Brallier married to Deb, Denver, CO, Kristina Mellott married to Harry, Hopewell, PA, Wesley Brallier married to Beth, Hopewell, PA and Paula Brallier and partner Jan. Denver, CO; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by daughter Elaine Veach and a brother Robert McEldowney.

She was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School Class of 1948.

Patricia worked as a waitress at the Dairy Del, Gateway Restaurant over the years as well as a farmer’s wife and the Red Cross.  She was a member of the Brethren Faith.  She would volunteer at the Everett Free Library and for the Green Thumb Program.

Ms. Brallier enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching her grandchildren show horses and was a master of crossword puzzles.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor John Bennett and Pastor Ronald Hott officiating.
