Norman M. Drake

Norman M. Drake, 86, of Seven Ducks Lane, Everett, PA passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at his home. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland on November 11, 1932, son of the late Norman Henry and Edna Loretta (Martin) Drake. On April 19, 1954 he married Mary Louise (Johnson) Drake in Bethesda, Maryland.

Norman owned and operated a welding business in Riverdale, Maryland and Crystal Springs, PA. He served in the United States Navy as an officer.

Along with his devoted wife of sixty-four years, Norman will be dearly missed by his children Diane Featherstone (David), Susan Broderick (Daniel), Richard Drake, Lisa Bessell (Brett), Angela Drake, Robert Drake (Rhonda), and Vicki Drake. He will also be missed by his nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren to whom he was affectionately known as “Boompa.”

A memorial mass will be held at noon on Dec. 28 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 E First Avenue Everett, PA 15537
