Nancy Grubb Obituary

Nancy E. (Street) Grubb, 74, of Juliett Lane, Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Pennknoll Village with her husband by her side.  Her illness with Vasculitis had been a three year battle with this terrible disease.

She was born on August 17, 1943 in Centerville, PA; the daughter of the late DeWayne W. Street and Peggy A. (Growden) Street.  She was united in marriage to Bruce “Randy” Grubb on February 5, 1978 in Everett, PA.

She loved the outdoors, working in her flower gardens, shrubs and her seasonal decorations.  She also loved her daily walks on local trails and throughout the county.  Her favorite walk was through the abundant ferns at Blue Knob State Park.  She also enjoyed travel and hiking in many western states.  She and Randy made many memorable trips to the west visiting and hiking in many of the national parks.

She is survived by husband Randy and stepson Jeffery and his wife Laurie of Dallas, TX; step granddaughters Tatum and Taryn; a brother Gary Street of North Carolina and also a half-brother Myron Street of Bedford.

Nancy was preceded in death by brother Allen R. Street.  She was a 1961 graduate of Bedford High School and retired from Kennametal with thirty-five years of service in 1998.

There will be no public viewing.  A memorial service will be announced when plans are developed.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so in memory of Nancy to Love I.N.C. at 80 State Street, Everett, PA or Doctors Without Borders at P.O. Box 5022, Hagerstown MD 21741.
