Margaret Joyce (Garner) Campbell

Margaret Joyce Campbell, 82, of 10401 Raystown Road, Huntingdon, PA,  passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2017 at home with her loved ones by her side. She was born on December 16th, 1934 in Saxton, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Bursey B. and Elizabeth M. (Moore) Garner.  She was first united in marriage to John C. “Jack” Reed, he preceded her in death in 1964.  She later was united in marriage to Eugene M. Campbell in Marklesburg, PA on June 21st, 1969.
 Along with her husband, Eugene, of forty-nine years, she is survived by daughters Jackie E. (Reed) Lemin, James Creek, PA; Johnni C. (Reed) Beckel married to Joseph R. Beckel, Columbus, OH; grandchildren Jared William Bursey Lemin, Braihan Camred Beckel and Skyllar Margetta Beckel.
 She was preceded in death by a son-in-law William O. Lemin.

 Joyce attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Marklesburg, PA.  She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School Class of 1952 and was the "first ever" Huntington County Fire Queen.

 She always loved caring for the elderly, and enjoyed working as an Ombudsman for twenty-five years for Huntingdon Bedford Fulton Area Agency on Aging, until her retirement.

 Joyce enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed attending horseshows with her daughter and granddaughter and frequented competitions around the country.

 Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
 Funeral Service will be at Akers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Patty Wise officiating.

Burial will be held at Dudley Methodist Cemetery, Dudley, PA.
