Marcia K. Snyder

Marcia K. Snyder, 61, of Pepple Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born on September 25, 1957 in Shade Gap, PA; a daughter of Wibur and Winifield (Smith) Vinson.  On May 23, 1981 in Stevens Chapel United Methodist Church, Clearville, PA; she was united in marriage to Robert “Hunk” W. Snyder.

Along with her husband, she is survived by sons Dusty Snyder, Breezewood, PA, Charlie Snyder and significant other Danielle, Everett, PA; siblings Jackie Clark, Lewistown, PA, Bonnie (Shoop) married to Ed, Nelly, PA, Mark Vinson married to Shirley, Hustontown, PA; grandchildren Ava and Gabriel Snyder and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by sister Lurea Henry and brother in law Gary Clark.

Marcia enjoyed baking, working puzzles, painting, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

She attended Stevens Chapel United Methodist Church.

Family and friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stevens Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor C. J. Bowser officiating.

Burial will be held at Steven’s Chapel Cemetery.
