M. Catherine Fockler, 86, of West 6th Street, Everett, Pennsylvania; passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Pennknoll Village. She was born on October 13, 1931 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Tewell) Mickey.
On August 17, 1974 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was united in marriage to the late William L. Fockler Sr.; He preceded her in death on September 4, 2014.
She is survived by children Mike Mickey, Bedford, PA; Darlene Mock, Everett, PA; Robert Mock, Everett, PA; Brian Fockler, Clifton, NJ; William Fockler, Hopewell, PA; Michele Terrill, Everett, PA; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son and all of siblings Helen, Vernon, Roy, Ruth, John, Charles, Norma Jean, Merle and infant sister Grace.
Mrs. Fockler worked at Lion Manufacturing until her retirement and later worked at McDonald’s after retiring. She was a member of Mt. Chapel Church in Breezewood, PA and participated in various bowling leagues and the Young at Heart Games.
Catherine enjoyed playing softball and was an avid hunter as well as a Pittsburgh Pirates Fan.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett with Pastor Ronald Hott officiating.
Family and Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
