Johnny G Foor

Johnny Guitar Foor, 48, of Mopar Lane, Breezewood, Pennsylvania; passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at home.  He was born on January 27, 1971 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania; a son of  Mary K. (Colledge) Foor of Breezewood and the late John R. Foor.

Along with his mom, he is survived by daughter Tricia L. Foor, Clearville, PA; sisters Darlene married to Donald Dacheux, York, PA; Cindy married to Robert Halterman, Everett, PA; Verna married to Kenny Kniseley, Breezewood, PA; Terry married to Lloyd Smith, Clearville, PA; Penny Foor and companion Rick Souders, Breezewood, PA.

He also leaves behind his best friend and buddy his little dachshund “Digger”.

He was preceded in death by a brother Dewey John Foor and a sister Carolyn (Foor) Blackstone.

Johnny went to Breezewood Elementary and Everett Area High School.  He worked at the Town Hill Service Station and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.

He enjoyed playing music in various country bands, playing his flat top guitar and singing.  Over the years he played at The Black Diamond Café in Six Mile Run, the Community Center in Mill Creek and the Raystown Ampi-Theatre at Raystown Lake.

Johhny loved riding his Harley Davidson, his four wheeler, or working on his “old faithful” backhoe.

He attended church at Mt. Chapel with his father and really enjoyed listening to the words of Pastor Ron Hott.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and we will miss seeing his beautiful blue eyes and warm smile every time we saw him.

Family and Friends may call at Mt. Chapel Church, 1164 Mountain Chapel Road, Breezewood, PA 15533 on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Chapel Church with Pastor Ronald Hott officiating.

Burial will be held at Mt. Chapel Cemetery.
