John Charles Lehman, 66, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 10, 2017. He was born on June 28, 1950 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania; a son of the late John Samuel Lehman, Jr. and Ruth Marie (Mellott) Lehman-Mock. On September 9, 2005 in Glassboro, New Jersey he married Belinda Bones, his declared Soul Mate and constant companion. Along with his wife he is survived by children: Melisa Lehman-McIntire, Jon- Michael Lehman and Jarred Lehman; step children Jessika Keen and Ryan Keen; siblings: Charles “Chuck” Lehman married to Sharon, Trudy Taylor, Patty Stone and Linda married to Ken Morgan; grandchildren: Ashley Lehman, Maya McIntire, Emily Vail; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lehman was born and raised in the Protestant Faith, and converted to Catholicism decades ago and most recently attending Immaculate Conception Church in Dudley. He was an assistant scout master of Boy Scout Troop No. 289, Glassboro, NJ. John was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hiking, canoeing, camping and archery, he was an expert marksman. He spent his working years as a self-employed master craftsman cabinet maker.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 1416 Dudley Rd, Dudley, PA 16634 with Father Matthew Baum officiating. Family and Friends may be received from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
