Jesse “Bob” R. Young, 71, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020. He was born on May 5, 1948 in Hopewell, PA; a son of the late Jesse G. and Betty D. (Morshead) Young. He is survived by children Mariah Williams married to Dave; Aurora Young and partner Jon; Samantha Weitzel married to Ben; and Jesse R. Young II, step-daughters Erin Clark and Lindsey (Clark) Yorke married to James; grandchildren Jacob, Warren, Benjamin, Jaylin, Peighton, Sophia, Lylah and Jase; siblings Carole Young and Alex Young married to Karen; and a special friend and caregiver Kenny.

He was preceded in death by a brother Pat Young.

Bob, or Jesse depending at which point in his life you knew him, was a man of many talents and a jack of most trades. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, woodworking, cars, collecting, pretty women, and maybe most of all, dreaming. He was a man of few words or many, but rarely in between.

His life was full of fun stories, wild adventures, and some mishaps, but doubtfully many regrets.

While his calm presence will be missed, the memory of him remains.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
