Jane V. Hood

Jane V. Hood, 68, of Everett; passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Excella Health Latrobe Hospital.  She was born on December 12, 1950 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Miller C. and Agnes (Campbell) Hood.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Hood and nieces Susan McCahan, Donna married to Randy Barber, Linda married to Mark Clark, Karen married to Tim Troutman and nephew William Hood married to Shellie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James F. Hood in 2015 and her nephew James M. Hood in 2018.

She was a graduate of Everett High School.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University of PA.  Jane was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. until departure to the church at 10:30 A.M.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 East First Avenue, Everett on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Derek Fairman officiating.

Burial will be held privately at the Everett Cemetery.
