Freda M. (Hinish) Mellott-Snowberger

Freda M. Mellott - Snowberger, 87, of Northgate Park Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Pennknoll Village.  She was born on November 9, 1929 in Graceville, Bedford County; a daughter of the late William H. and Mamie E. (Roush) Hinish.  On September 26, 1953 she married George F. Mellott, he preceded her in death on October 12, 1980.  She is survived by a son, Harry F. Mellott married to Kristina S. (Brallier), Hopewell, PA; granddaughter Nicki married to Mark Donahoe; great grandchildren Darian Fetter and fiance Dakota Feight; and Camden Donahoe; nephew John Hinish married to Sherry (Truax); niece-in-law Beverly Hinish and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Alice Helfer, Gladys Hinish, George Hinish, Willard Hinish and nephew Kenneth Hinish, Sr.

Freda enjoyed watching some of the old television shows and going to her son and daughter-in-law’s for family dinners.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor H. Lee Ritchey officiating.
Burial will be held at Graceville Cemetery.
