Dotty J. O'Neal

Dotty J. O’Neal, 65, of Farmers Valley Road, Hopewell, PA; passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home.  She was born on November 11, 1952 in Bakers Summit, PA; a daughter of Ross Hoover and Mary (Stoner) Hoover.  She was united in marriage to Robert O’Neal on January 17, 1971 in Bakers Summit, PA.

Along with her husband, she is survived by a son Ronald David O’Neal married to Charlene (Bousom), Hopewell, PA and daughter Julie married to Justin Bollman, Hopewell, PA;  grandchildren Troy O’Neal and Mikayla Bollman; siblings Dale Hoover, Pete Hoover, Gene Hoover, Gary Hoover, Max Hoover, Glenn Hoover, Myron Hoover and Karol Kennedy. 

Dotty was preceded in death by siblings Darlene Hoover, Lawrence Hoover and Robert Hoover.

She was a graduate of Northern Bedford County High School Class of 1970.

Dotty was affiliated with Holsingers Church of the Brethren.

Dotty worked at Dallco Industries, Cannondale, and Cove Shoe.  She loved farming, sewing, knitting, the Christmas season, and her grandchildren. 

Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.

Burial will be held at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery.
