Donna L. Heckman

Donna L. Heckman, 84, of The Village at Morrisons Cove formerly of Everett, PA; passed away on November 1, 2019.  She was born on February 3, 1935 in Hopewell, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Sanford H. and Arlene (Colledge) Heckman. 

She is survived by sisters-in-law: Joyce (Heckman) married to Bruce Zimmerman and Beverly Heckman; niece Jill married to Jack Drenning and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by brothers Gerald D. Heckman and Joe G. Heckman; sister-in-law Joan Heckman and special friend Donald Ramsey.

Donna was a member of the Lutheran Church in Graceville and attended Mt. Chapel Church.

She was employed at Bedford Memorial Hospital in the dietary department for over thirty years until her retirement.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett with Pastor Ron Hott officiating.

Family and Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Asbury Cemetery.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ms. Heckman to the Mt. Chapel Church or Asbury Cemetery Association or a charity of your choice.
