Connie Ann (Spade) Harclerode

Connie Ann (Spade) Harclerode, 73, of State Street, Everett, PA; went on to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born on March 31, 1945 in Crystal Spring, PA; a daughter of the late Alvin and Myrtle (Clark) Spade.
She married Mitchell Harclerode on April 6, 1974. Along with her husband she is survived by sister-in-law Sandra (Spade) Fetter and husband Dean, six nieces and nephews Paula married to William Gibbons, Julie Smith, Ginger Mearkle, Clyde Spade, Jr. married to Michelle, Chad Spade, Deb married to Michael La Magna and Carol Harclerode and friend Eugene Redinger; great nieces and great nephews and the only aunt remaining, Alma Calhoun and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Eugene Alvin and Clyde Allen, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Lloyd and Betty Harclerode also deceased.
A 1963 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. She worked at Bedford County Oil, Bedford Farm Bureau and retired from Barnes Garage.
Connie was a member of Wesleyan Holiness Church. She held different duties including, Church Secretary, Sunday School teacher, song leader and Missionary President.
Connie wanted to thank all the ladies who faithfully prayed, called and sent cards of encouragement during my illness. What a blessing!
Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Bryon Myers officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Bedford County Memorial Park.
