Christopher V. Brockey, 87, of Walnut Drive, Clearville, PA; passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Cumberland Healthcare Center, Cumberland, MD. He was born on April 13, 1930 in Chaneysville, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Christopher F. and Lula (Ratcliff) Brockey. On February 18, 1961 in Flintstone, MD; he was united in marriage to Dolores M. (Smith) Brockey. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years along with two children Gary E. Brockey, Clearville, PA and Tammy married to Kenny Monkman, Strasburg, VA; nephews Tim Reed, Greencastle, PA and Dan Reed, Bethlehem, PA.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Phyllis Reed and Lois Redinger and nephew Monte Redinger, Sr.
Mr. Brockey was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1948. He alongside his wife owned and operated C&G Dairy Farm for many years until his retirement.
Christopher was a member of the Chaneysville Community Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching football.
Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, January 13, 2018 for a time of visitation at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Burial will be held privately at Chaneysville Cemetery.
