Barbara E. Snider-Potts

Barbara E. Snider-Potts, 83, of Shipley Road, Artemas, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  She was born on November 2, 1936 in Mannington, WV; a daughter of the late Lester and Gail (Michael) Hawkins.  She was previously married to Charles “Sonny” Snider, he preceded her in death.  On July 29, 2008 in Winchester, Virginia; she married Athlen Potts, he preceded her in death on February 27, 2013.

She is survived by three sons Charles Snider married to Donna, East New Market, MD; Michael Snider married to Marie, Artemas, PA and Mark Snider married to Sherri, Artemas, PA; grandchildren Timothy, Traci, Nikki, Lucas, Allison and Wesley; great grandchildren Hannah, Aurora, Mika, Quinn, Connor and Ireland and a nephew Jerry Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Hawkins.

Barbara was a member of the Fairview Christian Church and the Artemas Wanna Bee Quilters.  She was a graduate of Mannington High School.

She owned and operated Roadkill Café for many years before retiring and had previously ran the daycare center at Riverdale Baptist School.

Barbara enjoyed cooking and loved her job and getting to meet people at the restaurant. She loved spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, PA at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Milton Morris officiating.

Friends may call at the Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, PA on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
