Iris "June" (Snyder) Zelanko - Yingling

Iris "June" (Snyder) Zelanko-Yingling, 86, of Martinsburg, PA; passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.  She was born on June 21, 1937 in Six Mile Run, PA; a daughter of the late John Eldon and Nancy Grace (Kinser) Snyder.   She was first married to Delford John Zelanko and later Harold Yingling, both spouses preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children John Delford Zelanko, Breezewood; Justina Hall, Huntingdon and Jill Wallace married to Lee Roy, Everett; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren; two siblings Thelma Jean Smith and Dixie Lee Blades.

June was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Reighard, a brother John Eldon Snyder and two great grandsons.

She was a member of the Clover Creek Church of the Brethren in Martinsburg.

June was a graduate of Saxton Liberty High School Class of 1955.  She was employed at Saxton Liberty School District in the cafeteria, Howard Johnsons and Landmark over the years.

She enjoyed reading and gardening.

A Private Service will be held by the family.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of June to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
