William W. Weaver, formerly of Saxton, PA and currently a resident of The Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 88 years. 

Bill was born on September 21, 1928 in Saxton, PA; son of the late Warren G. and Virgil M. (Crocker) Weaver.  He was a graduate of Saxton Liberty High School Class of 1945, Lycoming College, and the Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Master’s Degree.  Bill was a member of the United States Army.  He was employed as a metallurgical engineer for Bethlehem Steel and latertaught math, chemistry and physics for the Spring Cove school district.  He retired from teaching in 1983.  Bill was a member of Saxton United Methodist Church and Everett Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. #524.

He is survived by his wife, Susan and his children Susan Ann (Wayne) Fisher, Saxton, PA; Rebecca W. (Kevin)Cowan, Altoona, PA; David William Weaver married to Lori (Horton), Saxton, PA; Lynn W. (Lewis, Jr.) Sawyer, Arlington, VA; and Karen W. (James, Jr.) Olson, Glen Mills, PA; grandchildren Sarah (Fisher) Cornman, Rachel(Fisher) Grose, Morgan (Fisher) McConnell, Allison Sawyer, and Claire Sawyer; great grandchild Keith Cornman.

Private services will be held for the family.
