Tracy L. McFarland, 46, of Everett, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017.
He was born on March 11, 1971, in Everett, a son of Darlene M. (Showalter) McFarland of Everett, and the late Allen R. McFarland.
He is survived by daughter, Mercedes N. McFarland of Pittsburgh; and son, Tralyn C. McFarland of Bedford; step-father, George Thompson; siblings, Allen McFarland of Colorado, and Shawn McFarland, married to Kimberly, of Massachusetts; three nieces and three nephews.
He was proceeded in death by grandparents, Warren and Velma Showalter and Charles and Pauline McFarland.
Tracy was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1989. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, spending time with his family and had a love for his body art. He also was an avid Superman memorabilia collector. Mr. McFarland was a welder for 16 years and over the years worked at JLG and Grove Manufacturing.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Everett, with Rev. Robert Robertson officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, from 3p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
