Rodney L. Hasting, 58, of Everett, PA; passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1959 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a son of Betty J. (Weaver) Hasting of Altoona, PA, and the late Robert I. Hasting. He is survived by siblings, Deborah Hasting Cogan and longtime companion Kenny Smith, Breezewood, Pa; Joyce Brooks, Mebane, NC; Randy Hasting married to Teresa, Waterside, PA and Patricia Chesney, Claysburg. He was preceded in death by a brother James Hasting.
Rodney was a graduate of Northern Bedford County High School Class of 1978. After high school he served in the United States Army for four years.
Mr. Hasting worked as a self-employed contractor for several years; he was a carpenter by trade.
At Rodney's request there will be no services held.
