Robert W. Davis, 72, of Little Valley Road, Saxton, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born on April 22, 1945 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania; a son of the late William and Thelma (Krigger) Davis. He was united in marriage to Grace Elizabeth (Neuder) Davis. She survives along with children Terry married to William “Joe” Hall, James Creek, PA, William R. Davis married to Nancy, Bedford, PA and Robert W. Davis II and companion Jamie, Saxton, PA; grandchildren Mitchell and Daniel Hall, Lania, Rosalyn, Brandon, Grace, Robert III and Serenity.
Mr. Davis was baptized in the Dudley United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of the Tussey Mountain and attended Pennsylvania State University and St. Francis University obtaining a Master’s Degree in Rehab Education. Robert was employed as a traveling gas surveyor until his retirement.
Mr. Davis served in the United States Army for eighteen years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at the Church of God Tabernacle with Pastor Lanny Hoover officiating.
