Nora E. (O'Neal) Patterson

Nora E. (O'Neal) Patterson, 73, of Patterson Lane, Dudley, PA; passed on to her heavenly home on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, PA.  She was born on June 19, 1944 in Saxton, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Gustie and Lois (Young) O'Neal.  On December 30, 1963 in Winchester, Virginia; she was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Patterson.  He survives her along with three sons Kenneth E. Patterson II married to Sherri, Tyrone, PA; Hugh D. Patterson married to Dianne, Bellwood, PA and Blair C. Patterson married to Jaalah, Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings Catherine married to Steve Stoudnour, Saxton, PA; Mike O'Neal married to Mary, Saxton, PA; Jim O'Neal married to Connie, Boiling Springs, PA; sisters-in-law: Mary O'Neal and Donna O'Neal; brothers-in-law Willis "Mick" Reed and Richard "Dick" Fluke.

She was preceded in death by siblings John O'Neal, Betty Fluke, David O'Neal, Mariam Brantley and Vivian Reed.

Nora was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School Class of 1962 and went on to take some nursing training after graduation.

She enjoyed quilting, music, sewing, singing, writing plays for the school and being with family.

Friends and Family will be received at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, PA on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Zachery Kerlin and her son Pastor Kenneth Patterson II officiating.

Burial will be held at Dudley Methodist Cemetery.
