Its with deep sorrow that I learned of Sparkys passing. He will be missed by his family and friends daily. He was the sweetest, giving Chief, and i'm blessed to have knowned him. Working with him at UAA was a blast and i shall never forget our days together. God bless you all.

Dear Roseanne and Susie, my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers. I found out about Sparky's passing over the weekend, from Michelle in Phoenix. I loved Sparky deeply, and shall miss him. You know so well what a good soul he was -- caring, passionate, smart, thoughtful, and always loving. He is missed. You recall that I worked with Sparky at K&K Bakery in 1972, and that we cared for each other deeply. I reconnected with Sparky about 17 years ago -- visited him in Lihue, and he visited us here in Saint Louis. I made a memorial in his honor to the American Stroke (Heart) Association, requesting them to notify Akers. Dan O'Brien

I am so sorry to hear of Ned's passing. I barely knew him as he was older than me however, I know most of the family & have known them ever since I've been. God be with all of you. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one, Ned. May you find comfort in the words written at John 6:40, where God promises to bring back to life those we have lost in death by means of a resurrection. In the future He will also eliminate our enemy, death.(Isaiah 25:8) This gives us the wonderful hope of being reunited with our loved ones, forever. Until then, I hope the memories of Ned and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

I am saddened beyond belief at the passing of my beloved and dearest friend, Sparky. We spent many months together over many years. I will carry his wisdom and light with me for the rest of my life. And, as I write this, I wish you well, my wonderful friend, on your journey to the stars. I miss you terribly.

Sending much love and sympathy to the family. We think of you often even though we no longer live in Everett. We have many fond memories of our children growing up together Sherron and Lynnette.
