Martin M. Territo passed away early morning November 8th at Homewood at Martinsburg. He grew up in the Broad Top, the son of Guy and Leona Territo, graduating from Robertsdale High School. He joined his father and brother in their family barbershop. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
He was married to Deloris Jean Lundquist Eichelberger on September 17, 1977 in Dudley, by Father Joseph Bender. He continued ownership of the Saxton Barbershop while also teaching barbering at the Cresson State Correctional Institution.
He is survived by his wife, Dee, his four step-children, Kathy Eichelberger Jones (Elizabeth, CO), Rick L. Eichelberger (Hopewell), Judge Carol VanHorn (Chambersburg), and Scott Eichelberger (Fayetteville). He was the proud Pappy to seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He also is survived by a sister, Bernadette (Bill) Irwin and 3 nieces and a nephew.
He was pre-deceased by a niece, a sister, Doris (Hector) Fagley and a brother William C. Territo.
Family will receive friends at the Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg, 437 Givler Drive Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 am.
A Memorial Mass will be held at the Chapel at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Marty’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org would be appreciated.
