Margaret E. Barnett, 75, of Front Street, Dudley, Pennsylvania; passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1941 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late William and Florence (Sparks) Smith. On June 26, 1959 in Hagerstown, Maryland; she married Donald C. “Sonny” Barnett. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2003.
She is survived by the following family:
Children: Donnie Barnett married to Debbie, Robertsdale, PA; Janice married to Todd Styer, Robertsdale, PA; Tammy married to the late Tom Spencer, Dudley, PA; Sheila Musser and Companion Brian Notestine, Broad Top, PA; brothers Willie Smith, Archie Smith, Paul Smith; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Chuck Smith, Allen Smith, Wanda King and Betty Snyder.
Margaret enjoyed crafting, shopping, playing music and spending time with grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of God Tabernacle.
Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11:00 at the Church of God Tabernacle, Broad Top Mountain Road, Saxton, with Pastor Lanny Hoover officiating.
Burial will be held at Dudley Protestant Cemetery, Dudley, PA.
