Jerry R. Wentz, 39, of Crissman Road, New Paris, PA, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 4, 1977 in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania; a son of Gerald R. Wentz of Saxton and the late Karen S. (Klotz) Wentz. His mother preceded him in death on February 20, 2011.
He is survived by a sister Dusty married to Leo Barkley, New Paris; nine nieces and nephews: Austin, Dylan, Ryan, Dempsey, Logan, Justin, Breanna, Keira and Benvenutta; two great nephews and best friends Jen Bollman and Davey Houseworth.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, shooting pool, playing with his nieces and nephews, riding ATV’s in the mountains of North Carolina with his cousin Kelly and watching movies. He also loved music and playing video games. He had a great love for his mother, she was his rock.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jerry to Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA to help assist the family with final expenses.
