Harold Eugene Diehl

Harold Eugene Diehl, 82, of Robin Lane, Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  He was born on July 10, 1935 in Bedford, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Nathan Grant and Edna (Clingerman) Diehl.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life Barbara A. Diehl.  She preceded him in death on June 17, 2017.

He is survived by a son Dan E. Diehl married to Kathy, Hudson, NC; brother David Diehl, Bedford, PA and two grandchildren Emily and Nathan.

He was preceded in death by a son Nathan Grant Diehl II and a sister Virginia Barker.

Gene was an owner/operator of various trucking/transportation businesses over the years.  After retirement he was employed at Sam’s Club in Altoona.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Bedford, PA.

Mr. Diehl enjoyed shooting target with his son and was an excellent mechanic.

Family and friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 2-4 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Adam Kravets officiating.

Burial will be held privately.
