Evelyn D. (Wilt) Weicht

Evelyn D. Weicht, 82, of Clear Ridge Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, PA.  She was born on May 6, 1935 in Swanton, Maryland; a daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Broadwater) Wilt.  On December 25, 1954 in Flintstone, MD; she was united in marriage to Harold M. Weicht.  He preceded her death on November 13, 2016.

She is survived by son Carl W. Weicht, Everett; two granddaughters Crystal A. (Weicht) married to David S. Mickinac, Jr., Bedford, PA and Cheyenne D. (Weicht) married to Timothy O’Hear, Fairlawn, OH; one great granddaughter Kaley Nicole O’Hear; siblings Irene Trenum, Marjorie Zais, Wanda Stayer, Rose Riggleman, Bessie Johnton.

Also surviving are special extended family Kerry, Sherry and Shane Molovich of Everett.

Mrs. Weicht was preceded in death by siblings: Paul, Raymond, Carl and Robert Wilt, Maxine Jay, Sherry Wilt and Sues Wilson.

Evelyn was a supervisor at Lion’s Manufacturing for several years and worked as a Mary Kay Consultant.

She was of the Christian Faith.

Evelyn enjoyed sewing, traveling, shopping and spending time with her granddaughters.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett and on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home.

Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery.
