I'm sorry for your loss.

John Moyer Shambach Sr., was my 5th cousin 2x removed. I've been researching my Walter family tree for 20 some years, and share my work on the ancestry website, which does include my DNA test to prove relationships of family members. If this might interest you, please email me. Thank you for your time.

Your mom and my Uncle Russell Gordon and Aunt Doris Gordon were very good friends all their lives and got to spend some time together in Homewood. They really enjoyed her and she was always so kind and friendly to me. A good, Kind loving ,positive person. My thoughts are with you at this time.

John and Joni....
Your Mother and my Mother(Genevieve Wilt) were high school friends and would get together whenever possible for lunch over the years with the other 3 girls in their gang:. Wilma Geinger, Betty Hess, Ruth Morris, These ladies all died within the last week. I'm sure there's a huge reunion in heaven.
Your Mother was a lovely lady....very stylish, prime and proper. My Mother was very fond of her.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers......God bless. Connie (wilt) Hunt

To John and Joni,

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal”.

I first met your Mother, my Aunt Eleanor, in January 1949. I have no memory of the first 5 years of our relationship for that was the month and year of my birth. I am certain she loved me from the moment she first held me to her final breath. Your Mother was always one of the most thoughtful, caring, loving people in my life. She was not only there for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. She was part of my life every day for all the little things, the good times and the bad. She would always listen to my problems, no matter how trivial. And would always offer calm, sound, helpful advise in my formative years. My Aunt Eleanor was very instrumental in making me the person I am.
After I left Everett, we would go weeks, months even years without seeing or talking to each other. However, there remained a bond between us. When I would return to PA to visit, it was like no time had passed at all when we were together. I will continue to think of her often and to love her the rest of my life as I know she loved me.
