Edna "Betty" Mae Barton, 88, of Longs Run Road, Six Mile Run, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford. She was born on April 8, 1929 in Round Knob, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Ernest Steele and Rosella Figard. She was united in marriage to Merle A. Barton in their home in Round Knob in 1969.
Along with her husband, she is survived by children Connie R. (Corbin) married to Alfred H. Watson, Crofton, MD and James J. Corbin, Washington, D.C.; siblings Pearl Fessler, Shirley Wright, Lee Zelanko married to Libby, Kay Walters married to Brad, Michael Zelanko married to Jeannie; grandchildren Angela R. Watson-Holbrook married to Hans and Tammy L. Watson; great-grandchildren Hans Ethan Holbrook and Amber R. Holbrook.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Zelanko.
Edna attended Six Mile Run Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years, but most recently attended Kearney Union Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, walking and baking.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearney Union Church with Pastor Alfred H. Watson officiating.
