Dale L. Price, 79, of West Street, Everett, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Pennknoll Village, Everett, PA. He was born on May 19, 1937 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a son of the late George C. and Myrtle (Mills) Price. On December 20, 1957 in Cumberland, Maryland; he was united in marriage to Barbara A. (Clark) Price. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2013.
He is survived by a son-in- law: Howard W. Reed and fiancé Heather Brechbiel, Everett, PA; grandchildren Zachary W. Reed, MaKenna L. Reed and Shawna Brechbiel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Dalena L. Reed and the following siblings:
John, Harry, Kenneth, Richard, Walter and Glenn Price, Mabel College, Vera Weicht, Mary Evans and Lela Dunkle.
Mr. Price was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church.
Dale served in the United States Army. He worked in the woods logging most of his life.
He enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, collecting blow torches, working on motorcycles and playing bingo.
Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Saxe and Rev. Nancy Clark officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Clearville Union Cemetery, Clearville.
