Audrey L. Stavola, 90, of East Graceville Road, Breezewood, PA; passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 26, 1927 in Six Mile Run, PA to the late Cleveland and Mary Elizabeth (Williams) Swope.
She was married to Anthony Joseph Stavola, who preceded her in death in November of 1994.
Audrey worked for a well-known family furniture store in the Philadelphia area. Part of her job was staging new homes, which she loved to do. When she retired from the furniture store her hobby was woodworking. A good friend and neighbor taught her the woodworking trade. She spent many hours working with wood and grew to love it. She made large wooden doll houses, to sell. One of her favorite things to make was large wooden boxes for storages. To make them easier to move around she put wheels under them. She put wheels under everything possible.
She returned to Bedford County in 2014.
She has two surviving sisters, Cleoma Foore, Six Mile Run, PA and Beverly Uncapher, Diamond, OH and many nieces and nephews. Fifteen brothers and sister preceded her in death. Her companion for the last fifteen years was her dog Maggie.
