Ameen Kohanyi, 30, of Green Lane, Bedford, PA; passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1987 in Baltimore, MD; a son of Ashraf Tassavori of Bedford, PA and Michael Kohanyi, Mt. Airy, PA.
He is survived by his parents; fiancé Danielle Benton and a son Benton Ameen Kohanyi.
Ameen was a graduate of Forest Hills High School Class of 2005, Sidman, PA; and Florida State University with a major in Business Management and minor in Marketing. After graduation from college he served four years in the United States Army as 1st LT. He recently was employed at the Bedford Springs as an Activity Director.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, South Carolina.
